In this podcast, Britta Gullin (Umea University, Sweden) looks at the complex causes and processes behind the violence involved in two events concerning two millenarian movements: Branch Davidians at Waco, USA (1993) and Ordre du Temple Solaire (OTS) at Freiburg, Switzerland (1994). The sound is not ideal because the recording is from a paper presented on Skype, but it is still clear and the quality, of course, shines through.
