In a post written by CenSAMM Academic Director, Alastair Lockhart, the Panacea Museum in Bedford, which is supported by the same Trust that supports the work of CenSAMM, now appears on the "Exploring Religion in Museums" guidebook project website.
The project is run by the Religion, Collections and Heritage Group, a new networkconcerned with all religious collections, from large museum and archival collections to small collections in places of worship and elsewhere.
The Guidebook aims to select up to 100 UK museums whose collections can be used to tell stories about religion, to raise public, scholarly and faith-group awareness of the variety and significance of religious objects in UK museums.
